Two years after Roe v. Wade was overturned, New Yorkers were heading to the polls with a state constitutional amendment on the ballot to protect reproductive rights. Across the Senate races I worked on, candidates were pairing that fight with kitchen-table concerns like affordability and public safety. Drawing on benchmark poll findings, I crafted a range of campaign materials that let each candidate's story drive the message, communicating a shared fight in four distinct ways.
My role: Write TV scripts, mailers, palm cards, and paid social ads tailored to each candidate's core message and target voters; partner with client leads to distinguish messaging and voice across four simultaneous Senate races: Lea Webb (D52), Samra Brouk (D55), Jeremy Cooney (D56), and April Baskin (D63)
